About

Originally from Hong Kong and now based in New York City, 20-year-old Christina Li is a singer-songwriter with a talent for bubbly, heartfelt pop and a deep love for clementines. As inspirations, Christina cites singer-songwriters like Lizzy McAlpine and Eloise, with whom she shares an irrepressible penchant for storytelling. Influenced by her love of bands like Lake Street Dive, Lawrence, and Sammy Rae and The Friends, Christina holds a special reverence for live music.

In 2020, Christina released her self-written, self-produced debut EP “Strings,” a seven-song storybook that chronicles the growth of her adolescent years. Last summer, Christina returned with the bouncy, danceable “Just As You Are” with producer Elitrax. Later in the year, she followed up with the release of her single “Residue,” co-written and produced by Teddy Sun, showcasing her knack for crafting unshakeable pop melodies. In the beginning of 2022, Christina released her most recent single “In Love With A Girl,” a sweet and groovy love song sonically infused with Christina’s love for jazz and r&b.

In 2022, Christina performed at Terminal 5, a New York City venue with a 3,000-person capacity, opening for Maude Latour, Sarah Kinsley, AMAARAE and Rick Ross. Since that performance, Christina has performed at renowned venues across NYC including Mercury Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall, Sofar Sounds, Carnegie Hall, and more.

Looking ahead, Christina intends to finish up her last year at Columbia University while focusing on pursuing her interests in the music business, specifically in label marketing, touring, and artist management.
